Rachel MArco Havens

Woodstock New York Portrait | Rachel Marco Havens

So a few years back when I was shooting my 60/60 project, ( http://the6060project.com/ ) I got a very nice email from Rachel telling me she had been following the project  and was a admirer of my work. At the time though I had fully cast the project and could not include her. So when I started shooting this project, and saw that she had left some comments on several of my subjects posts, all of which were very nice and all expressed a desire to be part of the series I knew we had to call her. Lucia reached out to her and ask if she wanted to be part of this Deliberately Dark Portrait project and she, to our good fortune, agreed. So today I got to meet her and photograph her, what a treat! A very cool woman in every respect, she is a writer, a jewelry designer, a singer among other things. You might have even seen her recently in some of Paul Green’s Rock Academy performances. Anyway she was very comfortable in front of the camera and showed no fear, and our session went well and we were left with nice images. You can check out her blogs and see what she is up to. http://palaceofmuse.wordpress.com/   http://haikuforthought.com/about-the-author/

Thanks so much for the kind words Rachel, and thanks so much for being part of this fun project.
