10 Jun Woodstock New York Professional Portrait | Sarah Jacob
I met the lovely Sarah Jacob at a meeting of Hudson Valley Creatives several months back. She had mentioned to me that she was interested in getting some photographs taken for a new direction she was embarking on. I love doing these type of sessions, I get to make nice images, but images that fit into an overall strategy. Sarah’s photography needs were fairly wide, she needed images that she could use for both marketing to private clients and corporate groups. So we went into the session with a very diverse set of plans. We started with Sarah on a pink seamless set. I had seen this pose in another image and I thought it really exemplified what Sarah was about to do. I wanted this tension, and to me Sarah on her toes is like a spring waiting to be sprung. A bundle of energy. She looks just great. We then followed it with 2-3 different shots inside and ended it outside with her and her dog Kaya. In the end there were many nice shots to choose from. A very successful shoot in my book. Thanks Sarah for allowing us to work with you, it was a fun and you were easy to collaborate with.
